[if she was uncomfortable right now, that was the point- granted Cloud was getting wrapped up in this 'game' without quite realizing what the payoff (or lack thereof) was going to be. he was whole-heartedly prepared to let Nike take the blame for this one. not that it meant that it'd be a bad thing of her to do so, nor would he think less of her either. after everything they'd gone through together, and this escalation of emotions between the two of them, letting her thoughts that pertained to him go wasn't something he was willing to let pass. normally he would have let it go.
